RTT HYPNOTHERAPY FOR ANXIETY

Anxiety isn't a personality trait. It's your body's response to something it learned. And it can unlearn it.

Anxious has become your default setting. It doesn't have to stay that way.

You’ve probably been told you’re ‘an anxious person’. Maybe you’ve even started to believe it. The constant low hum of worry, the physical tension that doesn’t seem to have an off switch, the way your mind runs scenarios at 3am that your rational self knows are unlikely — it’s exhausting. And it’s been there so long it feels like just… you.

It’s not you. It’s a nervous system that learned to be on guard. And unlike personality traits, nervous system responses can be changed — especially when we address what switched them on in the first place.

Women often come to me with one or more of these

  • Generalised anxiety — the background hum of worry that colours everything

  • Social anxiety and fear of judgment — what people think, how you’re perceived, whether you said the wrong thing

  • Health anxiety — the hypervigilance about your body, and what it’s really protecting you from

  • Anxiety rooted in old beliefs — about safety, control, worthiness, and what happens when things go wrong

  • Panic and the fear of the feeling itself — the anxiety about being anxious

  • Overthinking, rumination and the mind that won’t let things rest

  • The physical manifestations — tension, shallow breathing, disrupted sleep, the body carrying what the mind can’t resolve

This is for you if…

  • You function well from the outside. Inside, you are working very hard to hold it together.

  • You’ve managed your anxiety for years and you’re tired of just managing it

  • You can trace your anxiety to specific experiences or periods in your life, but knowing the source hasn’t made it quieter

  • Medication or talking therapy have helped, but something still feels unresolved at a deeper level

  • You want to understand why your nervous system learned to respond this way — and change it, not just cope with it.

HOW RTT HYPNOTHERAPY HELPS FOR THIS.

Your nervous system learned this. It can learn something else.

Anxiety is the nervous system’s alarm response — sophisticated, well-intentioned, and in most cases, no longer necessary. At some point, your subconscious decided that being on alert was the safest way to navigate the world. That decision made sense then. It’s costing you now.

RTT Hypnotherapy takes us back to when that decision was made. In a deeply relaxed state, we access the subconscious mind and find the root — the event, belief, or interpretation that switched the alarm on. We bring understanding to it, update the meaning, and give the nervous system permission to release a vigilance it no longer needs to hold.

Many clients notice a tangible shift in the quality of their internal experience after even a single session. For anxiety with deeper or more layered roots, two to three sessions are often recommended.
