RTT HYPNOTHERAPY FOR BODY IMAGE & your relationship with food
You’ve spent years trying to fix your body. What if the work was never about your body?
You know the cycle. The plan that starts Monday, the progress that feels fragile, the moment it unravels and the voice that tells you — again — that you have no willpower, no discipline, that you’ve only yourself to blame. You’ve lost the weight before. You’ve hated your body at every size. The number on the scale changes; the feeling about yourself doesn’t.
That’s not a diet problem. It’s not a motivation problem. It’s a subconscious one. The beliefs you hold about your body, about food, about what you deserve and what you’re allowed — they were formed long before you ever went on your first diet. And they’ve been running the show ever since.
Women often come to me with one or more of these
The body you can’t accept — the mirror that never shows you what others see, the inability to feel at home in your own skin regardless of size
Never feeling beautiful enough — the compliment that lands but doesn’t stick, the feeling that beauty is something other women have and you are always just outside of
The physical self you can’t make peace with — not just weight, but the nose, the skin, the ageing, the parts you’ve been at war with for so long the war feels normal
Never feeling enough in your own body — the sense that you are permanently one size, one treatment, one transformation away from finally being enough — to yourself, to others, to the world
Yo-yo dieting and the exhaustion of starting over — understanding why the cycle keeps returning and what the subconscious is protecting you from
Emotional eating and comfort eating — food as soothing, numbing, rewarding, punishing — and the original wound beneath it
Comparison — with other women, with who you used to be, with the body you think you should have by now
Weight as protection — the subconscious reasons the body sometimes resists letting go, and what it’s really keeping safe
The critical inner voice — where it came from, whose voice it actually is, and how to stop living under its judgement
Food rules, restriction and the rebellion that follows — the exhausting push and pull that has nothing to do with hunger
This is for you if…
You can’t remember the last time you felt genuinely comfortable in your body
You eat well for a while and then something tips you over — and you can’t explain why
Your mood, your confidence, your willingness to be seen — all of it is hostage to how you feel about your body that day
You’ve tried every approach — and the weight of trying is almost heavier than the issue itself
You know logically that your worth isn’t your size. You cannot make yourself feel it.
There’s a version of your life you’re waiting to start until your body looks different — and part of you knows that’s not really about your body.
Ready to work together?
The subconscious mind controls your habits, your impulses, your relationship with hunger and fullness, your tolerance for being seen. It also holds every belief you’ve formed about your body — often from a very young age, often based on a comment, a comparison, an experience that landed before you had the language to process it.
RTT Hypnotherapy allows us to access those beliefs directly. We find where the story began — the first time food became complicated, the moment you decided your body was the problem, the experience that taught you that being smaller meant being safer or more loved. We don’t revisit these moments to retraumatise. We revisit them to finally see them clearly — and to release the conclusions you drew that have been shaping your behaviour ever since.
This isn’t a weight loss programme. It’s something more fundamental: a shift in the relationship you have with your body. Clients often find that when that relationship changes, their behaviours around food and their body follow — not through discipline or restriction, but through something that finally feels like peace.
This isn’t about eating less. It’s about understanding more.
A note
This work is not a substitute for medical or nutritional support where that is needed.
